One of the biggest culprits is processed sugar. Foods like pastries, sweets, soda, cookies, and sweetened drinks overload the liver with fructose. When the liver cannot process all of it, sugar turns into fat, leading to fatty liver disease—now one of the fastest-growing health problems worldwide.

Another dangerous food group is fried foods. Deep-fried items like French fries, fried chicken, pakoras, and chips contain unhealthy oils and trans fats that cause inflammation and fat buildup in the liver. Frequent consumption makes the liver work harder than it should.
